Wenyuan (William) Teng told me after last night's blog post that he and his son would like to meet LiLi when she comes to Bristol. Wenyuan belongs to a Chinese church in Johnson City and he told me that American parents from time to time bring their adopted Chinese children to their church so that they can speak and play with other kids. He said he will find out if any of this friends have connections with a Chinese congregation in the High Point area perhaps as a point of introduction, if you wish. William emphasized that his son learn English very fast.
I'm glad that you are able to mix in fun and sightseeing along with the bureacracy and paperwork (which the Chinese have been diligently perfecting for over four thousand years)!
Have a safe trip back and we'll look forward to meeting LiLi.
